Our name, Rustic Acres, was chosen because of the beautiful country acreage that our cattery is located on. Rustic means “made of the rough limbs of trees, or relating to, or suitable for the country” and the name seems fitting that our cattery started in our log cabin home where we reside in Dubuque County.
