Our kings and queens are so much more than part of our breeding program — they are deeply loved members of the Rustic Acres family. They have helped shape the beautiful Maine Coon lines we are so proud of, and their happiness will always come first.
When the time comes for one of our adults to retire, we believe they deserve a wonderful next chapter filled with all the love, comfort, and individual attention they could ever want. While they are loved tremendously here, a cattery can be a busy environment. Retirement gives them the opportunity to enjoy a quieter home where they can truly be the center of someone’s world.
We thoughtfully choose each retirement family with the same care we use when placing our kittens. Our goal is never simply to find them a home — it is to find their home. A place where they can settle in, be spoiled, form a special bond with their people, and enjoy all the little comforts of being a cherished companion.
Saying goodbye is never easy for us, but knowing one of our beloved adults is receiving the one-on-one love and attention they deserve makes their next chapter incredibly special. ❤
