Ownership of the kitten transfers from Rustic Acres Maine Coons to the purchaser upon completion of the purchase agreement, receipt of full payment, and release of the kitten to the purchaser.
Each kitten will receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and veterinary examinations prior to leaving Rustic Acres Maine Coons. Rabies vaccination is not included unless specifically documented otherwise.
Gotcha Day will be scheduled between 12 and 14 weeks of age. The breeder will determine the kitten’s individual release date based on age, development, health, vaccination schedule, and overall readiness to transition to its new home.
Rustic Acres Maine Coons reserves the right to delay Gotcha Day when necessary for the health or well-being of the kitten.
The purchaser agrees to pick up or arrange approved transportation for the kitten on the date agreed upon with the breeder.
The $500 reservation deposit is non-refundable and is applied toward the kitten’s total purchase price. Any transfer of a deposit to another kitten or future litter is at the breeder’s discretion and must be agreed upon by both parties.
The purchaser agrees not to sell, lease, transfer, give away, or otherwise rehome the kitten during the first year without first contacting Rustic Acres Maine Coons. The breeder will be given the first opportunity to assist with or accept the return/rehome of the kitten as outlined in the purchase agreement.
The purchaser agrees to provide appropriate veterinary care, high-quality nutrition, fresh water, a safe living environment, and proper care throughout the cat’s life.
The kitten will be kept indoors or allowed outdoors only in a secure and appropriately supervised environment.
The purchaser agrees to have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 5 calendar days of Gotcha Day and to promptly notify Rustic Acres Maine Coons of any significant health concerns identified during that examination.
Pet kittens must be spayed or neutered by 9 months of age, and documentation must be provided to Rustic Acres Maine Coons. Breeding is prohibited unless breeding rights have been expressly granted in writing by the breeder.
